The year I found my sound, then lost it
Hello my wonderful wonderful readers, we are getting close to the end of the year and it is time for a summary of what has happened creatively the last 12 months, A year fills up so many memories and if you spend your time well, it will also be filled with a lot of creations. I have had a good creative year this year, some will argue that I have not produced enough this year to be able to state that. I will explain what I mean by saying it has been a good year: I found my sound in music, and I have let my voices speak clearer than ever to me. For then year I have struggled with trying to change my poetry into fitting the rap genre, this year I realized this type of poetry, spoken straight from the heart with pure emotion is what built the rap genre in the first place, and the angle I have could only make my own expression stronger. When I realised that my poetry stopped rhyming, and my voice inside just screamed words at me, and it released so much I had inside of me, and thats why It has been a really good creative year.
