Still waiting for the echo to respond back
Shouted in your direction
knowledgeable replies returned back
with words of wisdom at the tail of a sound wave
Now, it awaits
still hear your voice
but its silent

Tried every angle possible
being in shouting distance
of where we once were
still waiting
for your reflection of the sky

every raindrop
every snowflake
every gust of wind carries your voice in it
but it moves in silence

I try to listen
I have to listen
I can still hear you
you are perfectly placed on my right shoulder
whispering words to me

But when I shout out
there is no reply in the echoes
like it used to

It is silent
