Day 62
28.04.2014
Topic: Solitude
Topic given by h.p Forrest

In the center of a rectangular room
Placed
To assemble everything around him
The walls reflect each other
Giving him a perfect glimpse
Of how the room projects itself

In peace symmetrically
His thoughts wander
Inside of the premise
Alone
Carrier of himself

He starts to tear down the room
Mentally,
distancing himself away
From both physical and mental
Objects
Those that bore him through
Those that kept him on his toes
Those that have strangled him
Those that grew his wings
They all need to go

He dismantling the walls
With perfection
Every fibre of the wallpaper
Every splinter in the wood
Every fragment in the concrete
Piece by piece
He moves them away from
The specter of himself

He breaths in the colour of white
As nothing is left around him
He is now in this moment
The power of everything

He is…

  1. I like the process of reaching solitude here. But maybe solitude starts after this moment, in the still and continues state of it? What do you think?

  2. Solitude starts in the last three lines

  3. “He is”….so much truth and sadness in these three words.
