A hand lifted
Pasted on the kneeling neck
That once touched the cradle of civilization
Caught in a disappearing act
Found at the center of existence
Could not keep up with the progress
So he could not hide behind it any longer.
Realms of sudden change
Breaks any safe shelter to hide the human you carry.
Only the beast is left naked
Glanced by the naked eye
Wow. Powerful prose.
great – camouflage was always an intriguing way to survive lying hidden within, often less beautiful and very dangerous like a leopard or a tiger, when an aggressor or like pied birds which raptors cannot see from on high when the prey- we too are like that with our appearances our masks and our cultivated ways – but when you come close it is all revealed and there may be nowhere to hide unless you invent yet another lie – or again without all those colourful lies your essence may be so pale as to be mistaken for a corpse.
