Parted in half
One eye centered towards the other
Staring at myself
All of me
Reflections in the mirror was no longer enough
I stared
I was looking back at myself
Trying to answer what I had become
In the beginning I seemed similar
Now, I saw the desperation behind my skin
The layers of destruction
Eating off the pure flesh
Rotting up
It reflected who I had become
My mind was eaten by worms
I was no longer human
I had lost my reflection
No shadow to cast, to keep me alive
I was reflected mortality
